With every passing day I became both mentally and physically stronger. I now rarely experience pain, and am able to play soccer one to two times a week. Experiencing what my patients experienced was very humbling, and I’ve found that it has strengthened my patience with them. I realized, that though we all have goals and ambitions, pain can quickly derail us from achieving these thoughts. The longer we live with pain, the more we distance ourselves from the things we once loved.
